Cornell (continued)
Offer from Cornell one year MBA.
Did not feel excited as I am supposed to.
Actually depressed for some days,
knowing that I did not have the resources to make it.
Betting on Mark 6 now.
What a loser.
Maybe time to acknowledge this:
Life is a process to gradually understand that
those good things just do not belong to us.

Sunday gathering
Came to Sai Wan for brunch with friends.
Good to get out of my room and see these beautiful girls.
What's even better was that we watched two movies afterwards,
Big Hero 6 and 50 Shades of Grey
Then dinner and a long talk on relationship
(mostly for the benefit of one single lady, you know who).
I think single girls are getting a lot of pressure now
(and imo they should, as most men like me will only consider 25-)
which is unfair
What's funny is that, both pretty and normal girls feel the same
The most difficult challenge is always oneself.
Good to get out of my room and see these beautiful girls.
What's even better was that we watched two movies afterwards,

LBS
Got offer from LBS MiF!
Thanks for the Korean alumni~
Must have said so many good words for me.
But still,it is a lot of money.
And I do not think LBS is offering a lot of scholarships.
Oxford is supposed to announce next round scholarship by today.
But, no news. Or maybe I am just not one of those lucky guys.
Cornell's decision is in next week.
Looking forward to it, but chances are there is no money as well.
So, at least two offers out of total four applications.
Not bad (as I purposely selected one-year program which is not popular).
But without money, I will be doomed to stay at Big4.
Still not bad, I will have good lifestyle, secure life,
and increased chance to land a good wife.
But what to tell our children, friends and ourselves,
what value we have really created for the world?

最近又认识了些美女.
圈子其实还是那么小,
只不过圈子内的朋友们带来了新血.
作为尚存残念的老龄单身狗,还是得多参加活动啊~
一位可爱同事,好想把她当妹妹~
一位混血台妹,也做审计,不过分太高,太难追
一位母校的intern,漂亮学霸.
通过自己team的intern打探了消息,
貌似已经有同事在行动了(*这帮坏人!都不叫上我*)
于是也不知道是比以前勇敢了还是年纪大了脸也不要了,
我就上去搭讪了...
以校友的借口....
而且假装我也是intern....(当然这以后会follow-up的)
腼腆可爱,皮肤白,不知道性格怎么样呢...
还有半个月,

Men 330 Ladies 230,
including BBQ (limited),drinks (unlimited),karaoke and darts
Sang a bit, ate a bit, dart a bit, and drank a lot
hey it is free, and "Nothing" and Baileys are too awesome
good to see old folks and some new folks
and one "300 bucks" girl turned out to be stunning and cute
And it happened that all my 闺蜜 (except one) were here

英国回来的高中同学(都回来一年多了!)约饭
打算先下手为强,挑个soho中价位的日料
结果已经订满了
无奈之下同学订了另一家中环日料
看OR已经是200-400
均价,而且大部分是午餐,所以我猜晚饭应该...>_<
我先去到坐下,看了一本目录,还正常,
就是比板长贵个5,6倍 @.@ 好像还是预料之内的
另一本目录是三种Omakase,最低盛惠一千~
anyway,还算点了不少东西,还有清酒(没想象中那么辣)
结果埋单还是小吓到了一下 - 每人800
就当我以为上次被同事骗去四季吃了600块的午饭已是个人纪录,
想不到这么快又刷新了纪录!
不过我真的吃不出有什么太特别的...
还是活一鲜性价比高!
